If you’re using the Formcraft plugin on your WordPress website, chances are at some point you’ll want to make a copy of a form you’ve already built.
And if you’re anything like me, it won’t be immediately obvious how to do it.
I did some googling and I couldn’t find any easy answer, which is why I’m writing this blog.
Turns out, it’s pretty easy to duplicate a form – the option just isn’t in the usual place you’d look.
Watch my short tutorial video, or scroll a little farther for the step-by-step instructions (with pictures!)
Step 1: Create a New Form
The first step is to actually click the “New Form” button.

After you do that, a modal will pop up with some options.
Step 2: Select Duplicate

Here’s where it gets obvious what we need to do. Select the Duplicate option, and you’ll see a dropdown selection of all of your forms.
Step 3: Choose the Form You Want to Duplicate

Just select the form that you want to make a copy of from the list in the dropdown box, type in your new form name, and then click Create Form.
All-in-all, it seems pretty easy, but if you’re like me, it wasn’t intuitive to look in the “New Form” option in the first place.
